Northern Wisconsin Gas Prices Continue to Drop in 2024

Drivers around the nation are happy to see the prices at the gas pump, especially given the ongoing events in the Middle East and the potential for colder months to have pushed prices up. As of January 10th, gas prices sit at $3.08 per gallon, down from $3.28 per gallon a year ago according to AAA data. 

In Wisconsin, gas prices remain well below the national average. It currently sits at $2.62 per gallon, 23 cents below where it was one month ago and 49 cents below where it was one year ago. 

Drivers in Northern Wisconsin are continuing to benefit from declining gas prices over the last month.

  • Eau Claire – $2.76 a gallon; down two cents
  • Pierce – St. Croix County – $2.88 a gallon; down nine cents
  • Superior – $2.78 a gallon; down 19 cents
  • Wausau – $2.63 a gallon; down 17 cents
